Please Note : Candidate should be Fluent in Arabic & English (Written & Verbal Both)

Role Purpose
The Copywriter is responsible for writing effective sales copy for all types of marketing & Communication materials both online and offline.

1. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications with appropriate registration with a recognized professional institute
• Min 3-4 years of experience based on progression ladder, relevant experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably in the telecommunications sector; Well informed on the Kuwaiti media sector
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
• Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English languages
• Creative flair and excellent presentation skills

2. Job Profile

• Drafting, editing, rewriting, writing, translating, and proofreading the company’s materials, documents and all official papers required both English and Arabic
• Writing different types of copy depending on its purpose.
• Writing compelling marketing and promotional materials for a wide variety of products and services.
• Help define brand voice and ensure that all copy is consistent with this voice by writing, editing, and proofing materials.
• Working closely with marketing, sales, technology, BI, HR, CC and corporate teams to establish tone of voice and appropriate writing styles and documentations.
• Collaborating with creative teams to re-edit, rewriting, drafting and relevant copy for brochures, sales materials and products.
• Working on online copy alongside the PR team ensuring copy works effectively for search engine optimization purposes.
• Working alongside marketing teams to write entertaining and effective email marketing materials.
• Researching subject matter to ensure the quality and accuracy of your copy.
• Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online
• Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
• Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
• Drive brand consistency across all company communications
• Implement brand guidelines
• Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
• See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
• Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent portfolio of work
