Job Summary:
The Tenders and Contracting Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating the tender and contracting process for the company. This includes preparing and submitting tender documents, evaluating bids and proposals, and negotiating and finalizing contracts with vendors and suppliers. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement procedures and regulations, as well as experience in online system and working in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit tender documents in a timely and accurate manner
Evaluate bids and proposals and make recommendations to management
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors and suppliers
Draft and finalize contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures
Monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues or disputes that may arise
Attend meetings with clients, suppliers and vendors to discuss contract requirements and negotiate terms.
Keep abreast of market trends and identify new business opportunities
Maintaining accurate records and filing system
Coordinating with various departments to ensure that the contracts are being implemented efficiently
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tenders and contracting
Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Fluency in English and Arabic is must.
