Description

We are looking for candidates for the below position:

- Shift Controller.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for shift in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
· Ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all team members.
· To work closely with other Shift Controllers to ensure production handovers are effective.
· Evaluate and report on production related process issues to Supervisor.
· Ensure Company HSE rules & regulations are followed during the shift.
· Shall be Knowledge on hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards.
· Responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective
manner to ensure best operating cost.
· Control safe startup, normal and shut operations by DCS as per established procedures and manuals. Problem solving and troubling shooting skills during the plant upset Operation time.
· Directs the Shift Team for adjusting the unit conditions, parameters through Distribution Control System (DCS) and Field.
· Review Field Operator Log and recommend for any field operational changes as required.
· Handle all unit emergencies and take proper actions accordingly. Communicate with all parties for any unit upsets and emergency.
· Report any defects and coordinate with maintenance for rectification
· Prepare the Daily Reports and Circulate as per the Distribution list within company and Client.
· Fully familiar with the permit to work system and isolation procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years for bachelor’s degree or Minimum 7 Years for Diploma Engineering.
• Experienced in Operating Systems – Gas Handling, Amine, Dehydration, DCS Operation (EMERSON System Preferred).
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal & writing).
• Based in Kuwait & Transferable residency.
• Can Join Immediately.
