We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset and Procurement Controller to join our organization. The Senior Asset and Procurement Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling the procurement process, ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Senior Asset and Procurement Controller will be responsible for managing and tracking the company's assets and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and manage procurement policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards and company objectives
Oversee and coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management
Manage and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating prices and terms to ensure the best value for the company
Manage and track inventory and assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures
Monitor and report on procurement and asset management performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Operations, to ensure timely and accurate reporting and forecasting
Supervise and train junior procurement and asset management staff
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and asset management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role
Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract management, and inventory management principles
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or equivalent certification preferred
