Description

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team (construction company). As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for performing quantity takeoffs, checking/preparing bills of quantities (BOQs), and pricing with subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
? Perform quantity takeoffs for tender packages.
? Prepare and check bills of quantities (BOQs) and pricing documents
? Preparing tender adjustment sheets.
? Read and analyze tender documents and identifying scope of work.
? Communicate with subcontractors for quotations and pricing
? Evaluate subcontractor bids and provide recommendations to the project team
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
? At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
? Experience in concrete structure calculations including steel reinforcement and finishes works.
? Strong analytical and mathematical skills
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills
? Proficient in relevant software and tools for quantity takeoffs and BOQ preparation
? Knowledge of relevant field and contracting work and regulations in Kuwait.
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
? Strong attention to detail
? Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
