Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on procurement processes.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage relationships, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to optimize procurement operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, preferably in a managerial role.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with local suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of Kuwaiti procurement regulations and practices is highly desirable.
