Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing substation projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of substation projects in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in substation construction, possess KSE (Kuwait Society of Engineers) approval, and a thorough understanding of KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) projects and approval processes. This is a senior-level position requiring a minimum of 20 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage substation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, to define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
3. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress to identify and resolve any potential risks or issues.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and expectations.
6. Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
7. Conduct regular project meetings, provide progress updates, and prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery, efficiency, and profitability.
9. Monitor and control project costs, expenses, and budget allocations, ensuring financial objectives are met.
10. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among project team members.

Requirements:
1. Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management, with a focus on substation projects.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex substation projects within budget and schedule constraints.
3. Strong understanding of substation construction, electrical systems, and associated equipment.
4. Possession of KSE (Kuwait Society of Engineers) approval or relevant certifications.
5. Extensive knowledge of KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) projects, standards, and approval processes.
6. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues.
8. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
10. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
