Description

1.     Quantity Surveyor (HVAC + PL/FF + Electrical)
-         Bachelor engineering in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in similar roles preferably in MEP Industry.
-         Well versed with all QS computer programs to assist his calculations and must be familiar with ISO standards;
-         Strong MS Office skills and advanced knowledge of estimating software programs.
-         Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-         Execution experience on few projects will be an added advantage.
-         Able to read drawings, properly measure quantities, study contractual and tender documentations and prepare invoices, variation orders, control subcontractors invoices and work performed, quality and quantity of material ordered and supplied.
2. AC technician supervisor job vacancy. Monthly salary, commission and accommodation will be provided.

Skills:

• install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner.
• ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
• perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
• diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
• make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
• install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
• clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
• make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
• inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems
1. To plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the site / facilities in order to meet an agreed programmed of deadlines.

2. To attend regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants and keeping them informed of progress.

3. To supervise and monitor the site Laboure force through General Foreman and or Supervisors, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer's satisfaction.

4. To oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensure that regulations are adhered to.

5. To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.

6. To prepare the selection and requisition of materials for use in the construction / maintenance, to check whether the materials are as specified.

7. To supervise and ensure proper maintenance of materials and to advise on technology and modifications required for a simpler and cost saving mechanism.

8. To prepare necessary paperwork for the completion of work and get it authorized by the client after their inspection.

9. To develop a relationship with the Project Engineer and prepare periodical reports on the progress of work.

Recommended Qualification

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
KSE membership is a must
Interdisciplinary Knowledge

Local / International Codes & Regulations.
Analytical Skills.

5 to 8 years of work experience.
