Summary:

The Operation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective. They work with a variety of departments to ensure that the organization runs smoothly and that all goals are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operations management principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities
• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
• Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff
• Find ways to increase the quality of customer service
• Liaise with other F&B Supervisor(s) to ensure seamless delivery of all the assignments and responsibility
• Maximize company profits through rigorous analysis and control of both wastage and portioning as we data. Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Knowledge of health and safety, and food safety in the catering environment.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic language.
• Leadership abilities
• Outstanding organizational skills

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in food science, operations management, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in the chocolate industry.
•Strong understanding of chocolate production, food safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
•Excellent leadership and communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Ability to think strategically and solve problems.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
