Description

We have an urgent requirement for an Accountant position for one of The Indian Construction Companies located at its Project Site in Shuwaikh.

Job description

1. Maintain and track all costs related to construction projects.
2. Maintain CTC reports and monthly P & L reports.
3. Review contractors’ bills for accuracy and completeness and approve payment requests.
4. Process invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders
5. Review, approve, and process payroll, expense reports, and timecards.
6. Research and resolve invoice and billing disputes with contractors.
7. Audit all accounts against contractual terms, budgets, and time schedules.
8. Review and approve vendor invoices and subcontractor bills.
9. Maintain files on general ledger, assets, etc.
10. Maintain files on contracts, warranties, insurance policies.
11. Prepare all Project site accounts-related reports as necessary.

Qualification: Bachelor’s in commerce (B. Com) / MBA Finance / M. Com with 8-12 years of experience.

1. Should have experience as an Accountant in the Construction Industry.
2. Should have good knowledge of Kuwait Labour Law, Internal audits, Tax Audits, Financial audits etc
3. Should be familiar with accounting packages like SAP, ERP, Oracle, Tally, etc.
