NETWORK TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
• Installing network hardware components and cables under the supervision of Telecom Foreman / Company Engineer,
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the network,
• Ensuring the network operates securely,
• Providing technical support to co-workers,
• Lay & pull cables in conduits and carryout the necessary wiring associated with all telecommunication network/system, terminate at both ends with proper terminating tools. These jobs include all telecommunication Cables such as UTP, telephone cables and associated Distribution Boxes, patch panels etc.
• On-call availability outside of business hours.
QUALIFICATION
• Must hold High School Certificate (12 Years of Schooling) and Diploma holder in Electronics, Communication, Telecommunication, Computer, or related area,
• Minimum 6 years of experience in in Telecommunication Service Provision, low voltage field & IT Services,
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills,
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Collaborating with the IT team on the development and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Running diagnostic tests on the communication between Routers, Switches, and servers.
• Enhancing network security, as well as documenting network processes, changes, and cabling layouts.

• Great interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• On-call availability outside of business hours.
