Job Description:
As a Sales Associate at GAMESTORE you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect gaming products and providing expert advice on various gaming-related topics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products, offering recommendations, and answering questions about gaming consoles, video games, accessories, and collectibles.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming trends, releases, and industry news to provide informed advice to customers.
• Sales: Actively engage customers to promote products, upsell and cross-sell items, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register accurately, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges efficiently.
• Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining store displays and ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure product availability and accuracy.
• Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Store Cleanliness: Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking shelves and cleaning the sales area.
• Loss Prevention: Be vigilant about theft and follow store policies and procedures for loss prevention.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and productive work environment.



Qualifications:
• Passion for gaming and a strong knowledge of video games and gaming culture.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills and cash-handling experience.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
