Situation Vaccant-Senior Chemist
(1) Job description
.
Experience in preparing the culture medium for bacteria to perform the necessary tests for bacterial
counting and calculating their percentage in water.
• Experience in conducting bacteriological tests for water to assess water quality and measure the
percentage of microorganisms.
? Directly Reporting the Lab Manager.
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments according to manufacturers' specifications
? Analysis of Drinking water & Ground water samples following EPA, WHO&ISO guidelines and
other standard analytical methods.
? Sound knowledge of ISO 17025 &9001 requirements
• Good data interpretation skills and record-keeping of analyses documentation.

Methods development and validation.
? Follow strict QA/QC requirements and policies
• Review chromatographic and QA/QC data ensuring it meets established criteria and furnish final
results
? Good understanding of calibration of Instruments and standard preparation
• Maintain laboratory documentation related to analysis and training.
? Give training to other chemists.
• Ability to communicate with other chemists, managers, and other personnel.
(2)Qualification
Bachelor's degree of science in chemistry/Biology from an approved college or university
(3)Experience
. Minimum 10 years experience in water analysis using analytical instruments like GC-ECD, GC MS,
ICPMS, ION CHROMATOGRAPH, HPLC, COMPUTRACE, TOC, FTIR, UV-VIS, TITRATORS & managing
biological and bacteriological analysis laboratories of water.
