Position: LNG Process Engineer
Location: Kuwait
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled LNG Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide process engineering technical support for LNG plant/facility design and operation, ensuring optimization of processes and operations within the framework of Incident Free Operations. This role will involve supporting project engineering activities and collaborating with various stakeholders to execute process studies and optimization techniques.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
? Perform daily process studies to optimize LNG plant operations based on feedstock and ambient conditions.
? Utilize process simulators/simulation techniques to maximize plant product production while minimizing resource expenditure.
? Collaborate with operations group to implement study conclusions and execute plant operations accordingly.
? Develop heat and material balances around specific gas processing equipment and entire plant using plant process simulators such as Hysys.
? Monitor and oversee the operation of inlet facility/treating units, jetty operations, utilities units, and gasification/product storage areas.
? Assist in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing phases of plant operations.
? Assume responsibility for operations monitoring, debottlenecking, plant studies, sales contract compliance monitoring, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
? Chartered Process Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
? Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least five (5) years in a similar LNG role.
? Experience in Oil and Gas facilities, including LNG, gasification units, marine facilities utilities, LNG vaporization, export operations, etc.
? Proficiency in process simulation software such as Hysys.
? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
? Ability to work collaboratively in a multinational environment.
? Ready to join within 1-2 months.
