Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and resilience of our financial software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity:
Develop, implement, and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in a timely manner.
Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security technologies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS and GDPR.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with software developers, IT support, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of security practices.
Provide support for secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Participate in architecture and design reviews to provide security recommendations.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
Strong understanding of cloud security and experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
Experience with network and system administration.
Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the fintech or financial services industry.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
