Lab Technician - Concrete Ready Mix
Job Summary
The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting quality control tests on concrete and its components to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. This role involves precise laboratory work, data analysis, and contributing to the overall quality of the concrete produced.
Responsibilities
• Sample Preparation: Collect, prepare, and store concrete and aggregate samples for testing.
• Concrete Testing: Perform a variety of tests on fresh and hardened concrete, including:
o Slump test
o Air content test
o Compressive strength test
o Flexural strength test
o Unit weight
o Water-cement ratio
• Aggregate Testing: Conduct tests on aggregates to assess their properties, such as:
o Sieve analysis
o Specific gravity
o Absorption
o Moisture content
• Quality Control: Maintain accurate records of test results and identify any deviations from quality standards.
• Equipment Calibration: Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Safety: Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a concrete laboratory preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Knowledge of concrete technology and industry standards.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

المسؤوليات

• اختبار الخرسانة: إجراء مجموعة متنوعة من الاختبارات على الخرسانة الطازجة والمصلبة، بما في ذلك:
o اختبار الانكماش
o اختبار محتوى الهواء
o اختبار قوة الضغط
o اختبار قوة الانحناء
o وزن الوحدة
o نسبة الماء إلى الأسمنت
• اختبار الكتل: إجراء اختبارات على الكتل لتقييم خصائصها، مثل:
o تحليل المنخل
o الثقل النوعي
o الامتصاص
o محتوى الرطوبة
• مراقبة الجودة: الاحتفاظ بسجلات دقيقة لنتائج الاختبار وتحديد أي انحرافات عن معايير الجودة.
• معايرة المعدات: ضمان المعايرة والصيانة المناسبة لمعدات المختبر.
• السلامة: الالتزام ببروتوكولات وإجراءات سلامة المختبر.
المؤهلات
• شهادة الثانوية العامة أو ما يعادلها.
• يفضل الخبرة السابقة في مختبر الخرسانة.
• الاهتمام الشديد بالتفاصيل والدقة.
• القدرة على اتباع إجراءات التشغيل القياسية.
• المهارات الأساسية في الرياضيات والكمبيوتر.
• معرفة تكنولوجيا الخرسانة ومعايير الصناعة.
• الخبرة في معدات وأجهزة المختبر.
• القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وكجزء من فريق.
