About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to join our team for a major Cryogenic Gas Project in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring all departments comply with Cryogenic Gas QA/QC requirements and foster a proactive quality and continuous improvement culture across the contractor organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the Contractor’s Site Quality Plan.
• Monitor quality of work in line with Site Quality Plan, Contractor’s method statements, and inspection/test plans.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9000, ISO14000, ISO18000, and other applicable standards.
• Review and coordinate all Contractors’ deliverables, including quality plans, inspection plans, procedures, specifications, and certifications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to support handover of O&M at contract termination.
• Lead site audits and promote continuous improvement in QA/QC practices.
• Provide training to Contractor personnel to address quality shortfalls.
• Occasional visits to facilities and jetties.
Qualifications:
• Academic: Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in quality management within the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in Cryogenic Gas projects.
• Certifications: Valid KSE certification required.
• Other Requirements:
o Strong knowledge of Company and Contractor Quality standards (ISO9000, ISO14000, ISO18000).
o Experience working in a multi-national environment.
o Ability to communicate and negotiate with senior management, stakeholders, and authorities.
o Must be currently residing in Kuwait with a valid transferable work visa (Article 18).
