Job brief:

As a Sales Associate at GAMESTORE you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect gaming products and providing expert advice on various gaming- related topics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.

Main tasks:

· Customer engagement: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products, offering recommendations, and answering questions about gaming consoles, video games, accessories, and collectibles.

· Active selling: Show enthusiasm about products, upsell, cross-sell, and meet or exceed sales targets.

· Trend knowledge: Stay updated with the latest gaming, anime, and pop culture trends.

· Product knowledge: Maintain working knowledge around gaming brands and ecosystems.

· Cash Handling: Able to operate the cash register accurately + process payments, returns or exchanges.

· Visual Merchandising: Maintain store display, and ensuring products are well- organized and visually appealing.

· Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.

· Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.

· Store Cleanliness: Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking shelves and cleaning the sales area.

· Loss Prevention: Be vigilant about theft and follow store policies and procedures for loss prevention.

· Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and productive work environment.

· Perform other related cross-functional tasks as required by the business.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and can keep a cool head under pressure.

Other Requirements

· English fluency, basic math, and cash-handling experience (Basic knowledge in POS transactions).
