Sr. Product Analyst / Sr. Merchandiser
A leading retail Co. in Kuwait is looking for Sr. Product Analyst / Sr. Merchandiser
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage business plans, including phasing and reforecasting for product lines.
• Oversee merchandising activities and retail buying while maintaining brand standards at the departmental level.
• Provide detailed, data-driven recommendations for new product initiatives and enhancements.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and track financial performance.
• Coordinate the development, execution, and communication of Merchandise Financial Plans.
• Manage stock mix in accordance with budget and trend analysis.
• Analyze inventory productivity at the category, store, and brand levels to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Accurately forecast sales and margins for various product lines.
• Prepare seasonal analysis reports, including sales plans, product phasing, and recommendations for future planning.
Requirements:
• Strong analytical skills, especially in inventory management, sales forecasting, and margin planning.
• Proven experience in merchandising, retail buying, and business planning.
• Ability to conduct trend analysis and provide actionable insights based on data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments.
• Familiarity with retail financial management, including P&L reporting and merchandise financial planning.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to forecast trends and optimize stock levels.
• Must have transferrable residency visa
• Ready to join or with short notice period
