We would like to inform you that we are currently seeking a diesel mechanic with the following qualifications:

Role and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles.
• Running diagnostic tests on vehicles, test driving vehicles to gauge performance and maintaining detailed records of the vehicles they have serviced.
• Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks.
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
• Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions and/or engineering specifications for both preventive maintenance and for troubleshooting.
• Perform a wide variety of repair and maintenance on material handling equipment, such as Reach stackers, Linde Stackers, Forklifts, hydraulic trucks, etc.
• Ability to trouble shoot with or without drawing.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in a clean, safe, and secure manner.
• Perform work as directed in an efficient, effective, safe, and timely manner.
• Effectively provide leadership and work direction to staff
Qualifications / Prior Experience
• Prior mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and knowledge
• Ability to read, write and comprehend written instructions
• Knowledge and ability to use machine shop tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to understand and use electrical measuring tools.
• Electrical/Mechanical degree or 5 years of related work experience
