Inner Works Design & Build is a turnkey rapid construction contractor.

We are looking for a Senior Draftsman (Mechanical/Piping) for a chemical plant project

Location : Shuaiba Industrial Area
Hours : Not less than 48 hours per week

Job role:
Work independently but accountable to the Senior Piping Engineer for delivery of project design engineering activities.
Understand common equipment and routing of all major process and utility piping in accordance with P&IDs and project standards.
Produce and check common piping deliverables including isometrics, piping GA's, tie-in details and plot plans.
Visit project locations, take physical measurement, prepare site sketches, verify dimensional and factual accuracy of prepared drawings.
Prepare detailed design drawings and as-built drawings.
Review drawings issued by other disciplines and incorporate the required data into discipline drawings.
Discuss drafting requirements with the concerned Engineer. Prepare preliminary drawings and prepare final working drawings upon receipt of the concerned Engineer's approval.
Review vendor drawings and documents and incorporate required vendor data into Discipline drawings and documents in consultation with relevant Engineer.
Develop nozzle orientation drawings for equipment’s.

Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10-12 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
Expertise in piping design principles, industry standards, and best practices to develop Plot plan, Equipment layouts, Pipe routing/sketches etc.
Proficient in working on AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D plant, MicroStation, Navisworks and Microsoft Office software’s.
Experience in the detail engineering of process plants.
Able to work with other disciplines to meet delivery dates and design targets.
Able to work with multi-nationality team.
Available to start at short notice
