Job Summary: The Agricultural Engineer - Garden Specialist designs and implements innovative gardening solutions to enhance plant growth and sustainability. This role requires strong communication skills to engage with clients and secure new contracts, along with the ability to create compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Develop and optimize garden layouts, planting designs, and crop rotations.
Create and implement efficient irrigation and drainage systems tailored for gardens.
Design garden structures such as greenhouses and raised beds.
Soil and Plant Health Management:

Analyze soil properties and recommend amendments for improved fertility.
Implement sustainable practices for pest and disease management.
Monitor plant health and provide solutions to issues.
Business Development:

Build relationships with potential clients to generate new contracts.
Prepare and deliver professional proposals tailored to client needs.
Communicate effectively the benefits of gardening solutions.
Technical Support and Education:

Provide training and guidance on best gardening practices.
Create educational materials and conduct workshops.
Project Management:

Manage gardening projects from planning to execution.
Collaborate with community organizations and businesses on gardening initiatives.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field.
Maximum of 5 years of relevant experience in agricultural engineering or gardening.
Strong knowledge of garden design, plant science, and soil management.
Proven experience in client relationship management and business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills.
Ability to join work immediately.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in urban gardening or community garden projects.
Knowledge of organic farming techniques and sustainable practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
Work Environment:

A mix of office work, field visits, and hands-on gardening activities.
