Description

Position: Offshore Doctor

Location: Offshore Platforms (International/Local Sites)

Reports To: Offshore Medical Supervisor

Duration: Contract-based (Rotation Schedule)

Requirements:

Education:
MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) Certificate from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of total offshore medical experience.
At least 2 years of experience working in a hospital/clinic setting prior to offshore assignments.
Certifications:
Valid Seaman's Book
Valid Passport
Valid OGUK (Offshore Medical Certificate)
Valid H2S OPITO Approved Certification
Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) OPITO Approved Certification
Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certificates
Additional Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in remote and isolated environments for extended periods.
Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of offshore safety and emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in occupational health, first aid, or other medical disciplines related to offshore industries.
Working Conditions:

Work Schedule: Rotation-based (e.g., 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off or as per project requirements).
Location: Offshore oil rigs, platforms, or other remote offshore facilities.
Accommodation: Shared living arrangements, meals, and recreational facilities available.
Health & Safety: Adherence to all safety protocols and medical regulations is mandatory.
