Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), substantial experience with CI/CD pipelines, and a strong understanding of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance. The DevOps Engineer will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring the security and reliability of our services.

Key Responsibilities
• Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate deployments, testing, and monitoring.
• Security Compliance: Ensure that infrastructure and processes adhere to PCI DSS standards and other relevant regulations.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Collaboration: Partner with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize and secure the development lifecycle.
• Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Incident Response: Lead and participate in incident response activities to swiftly restore services and conduct root cause analysis.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and workflows.

Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with PCI DSS standards and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.

Certifications:
• Professional certifications such as Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent are highly desirable.
