Maritime Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales efforts within the marine industry, focusing on products, services, and solutions tailored to Maritime transport including but not limited to Oil &Gas Shipping, Dry Bulk Transport, General Cargo etc., boats, yachts, marine equipment, and related services.. Job Summary
The Maritime Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales strategy, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the marine sector. This role involves overseeing a team of sales professionals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and staying updated on industry trends to maintain competitive positioning. The ideal candidate shall have proven track record in Navigation & Communication Systems, Maritime Satellite Communication Solutions, Instrumentation & Automation, Marine Safety LSA/FFA, Diving Equipment etc. as with reputed organizations in the role of Sales Manager/ BDM.

Key Responsibilities
1. Maritime Portfolio Development:
• Identify key OEM’s for Maritime products and services
• Supplier Relationship management
2. Sales Strategy & Planning:
o Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
o Identify growth opportunities and new markets within the marine industry.
3. Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
o Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
4. Team Leadership:
o Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Sales Engineers.
o Set sales goals, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
5. Market Analysis:
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
o Provide insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
6. Budget Management:
o Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
o Forecast sales and analyze performance metrics to adjust strategies as needed.
7. Collaboration:
o Work closely with marketing, operations, and manufacturing teams to align strategies and achieve goals.
o Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote products and services.

Qualifications
• Education: University Degree in Engineering (MBA or Marine-related education is a plus).
• Experience:
o Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the marine industry.
o Strong understanding of marine products, equipment, and industry trends.
• Skills:
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Leadership and team management abilities.
o Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
