Description

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer with 5 years of experience.
Role Objective
1. Manage all procurement activities of the division, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
2. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the division's needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
3. Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring reliable delivery of goods and services.
4. Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, including requisition review, order placement, and inventory management.
5. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards, while managing associated risks.
6. Monitor and control procurement budgets, seeking opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency.
7. Maintain high standards of quality for procured goods and services through rigorous supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
8. Prepare detailed procurement reports, maintaining accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
9. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers.
10. Address and resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly to minimize impact on operations.
11. Work closely with the division team to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
