Key Responsibilities:
1. Chocolate & Pastry Production:
o Prepare high-quality chocolates, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and standards.
o Innovate and develop new chocolate and cake recipes to enhance the menu.
o Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all products.
2. Ingredient Management:
o Source, inspect, and manage ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
o Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
3. Quality Control & Hygiene:
o Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in compliance with Kuwait’s health regulations.
o Ensure all kitchen equipment and workspaces are clean and well-maintained.
4. Production & Order Management:
o Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet store demand.
o Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours and special events.
5. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with management and sales teams to align production with customer preferences.
o Train and guide junior kitchen staff or assistants when necessary.
6. Creativity & Trend Awareness:
o Stay updated on the latest trends in chocolate and pastry arts.
o Experiment with flavors, textures, and presentation styles to create unique offerings.
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience as a chocolatier, pastry chef, or specialized cake chef in a similar role.
• Skills:
o Strong expertise in chocolate tempering, cake decoration, and dessert creation.
o Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
o Attention to detail and a passion for presentation.
o Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Availability: Must be currently based in Kuwait and available for immediate hiring or short notice period.
