*Job Summary:*
The Head Chef will oversee the entire kitchen operations, with a specialization in pastries, cookies, and baked goods. Responsibilities include menu planning, selecting high-quality materials and tools, managing the kitchen team, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts and baked goods, along with leadership experience. Working hours may vary depending on business needs.

*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Plan and design menus, with a focus on pastries, cookies, and baked goods, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer preferences.
2. Source and select the best ingredients, materials, and tools for pastry and baking production.
3. Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the pastry and baking sections.
4. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
5. Innovate and create new recipes to keep the menu fresh and appealing.

*Qualifications:*
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 3 years specializing in pastries, cookies, and baked goods (preferred: experience in a leadership role).
2. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, baking processes, and food safety standards.
4. Creativity and passion for developing new and innovative pastry and baked goods recipes.
5. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
6. Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry arts is a plus.
