Job Title: Heavy Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles, such as trucks and half lorry, to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers, to transport goods and materials
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
- Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for heavy vehicles
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles
- Clean driving record and good safety record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and navigation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
