Urgently looking for a supervisor, in Environmental Monitoring Support, for a company in Kuwait.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Instrument Maintenance and Environmental Monitoring & Support of which a Minimum of 3 years must be in handling works (as described in Introduction section of this Attachment VII to Exhibit A) in the field of Environment Monitoring and support. And must have a High School education.
Should have worked in similar capacity in the Oil and Gas industry and preferably in a Hydrocarbon Refinery.
Should be conversant with Safety Practices necessary to observe in Explosive and Toxic hazardous environment.
Should have proven record to show administrative capabilities to be able to work independently, be resourceful and interact with different personnel not directly under supervision
Responsibilities:
Supervisor, Environmental Monitoring Support will be responsible for:
• Operate the Company owned mobile ambient air monitoring station. Also, carry out routine maintenance and calibration.
• Carry out stack monitoring using portable monitors as required.
• Carry out effluent, soil, waste sampling as required.
• Provide support and participate in Environmental awareness activities e.g. logistics arrangement, displaying and explaining about equipment and facilities
• Ensure company owned equipment are used by the Contractor properly and maintained.
• Supervise and inspect periodically to ensure Contractors’ monitoring equipment are appropriate, calibrated and used with the correct procedure.
• Provide liaison support for contracted services like arranging power connection, locating the equipment etc.
• Verify various contractors under the Environment Division have actually carried out and completed the services in the field.
• Sampling services for water and soil.
Salary: 700 kd
40 Month project.
