A leading real-estate company is looking for a Web & Application Programmer is Responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and software applications. This role involves coding, designing, and optimizing both web-based and standalone applications to ensure they function effectively and meet user requirements.


Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
 Develop and implement the user interface (UI) of web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
 Utilize front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to create interactive and responsive web interfaces.
 Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for various devices and screen sizes.
 Build and maintain the server-side logic of web applications using languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, or Node.js.
 Develop and manage APIs to enable communication between the front-end and back-end components of web applications.
 Handle data storage and retrieval, often involving database management and integration with SQL or NoSQL databases.
 Design and implement APIs to facilitate data exchange between web applications and other systems.
 Ensure APIs are well-documented and follow best practices for security and performance.
 Implement web security practices to protect applications from common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
 Regularly update and patch web applications to address security threats and vulnerabilities.
 Develop standalone software applications for desktop environments using languages and frameworks such as C#, Java, or Electron.
 Design and implement user interfaces and functionalities specific to desktop applications, ensuring they are user-friendly and responsive.
 Integrate applications with external systems, databases, or services to enhance functionality and data exchange.
 Design and implement the overall architecture of web and application systems, including defining components, data flow, and interactions.
 Ensure that the architecture supports scalability, performance, and maintainability.
 Design and implement database schemas and structures that support the application’s data requirements.
 Optimize database queries and performance to ensure efficient data access and storage.
 Write and execute unit tests to validate individual components or functions of web and application systems.
 Use testing frameworks and tools relevant to the programming languages and platforms being used.
 Conduct integration testing to ensure that different components of the application work together as expected.
 Collaborate with end-users or stakeholders to conduct user acceptance testing, ensuring that the application meets their needs and expectations.
 Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs or issues reported by users or discovered through testing.
 Implement new features, enhancements, or updates based on user feedback, changing requirements, or technological advancements.
 Optimize code for performance, including improving execution speed, reducing resource usage, and enhancing scalability.
 Design and implement solutions that can handle increasing loads or user volumes without compromising performance or reliability.
Experience & Qualifications
 Minimum of 3 to 5 Years of related experience or Real estate industry
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any equivalent degrees.
 Able to communicate in English. Arabic communication literacy is a plus
Skills
 Strong coding and programming skills.
 Computer literacy and knowledge in MS Office and system applications.
Communicational skills and ability to work in teams.
