A leading real-estate company is looking for an IT Helpdesk Officer who is responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users. This role is crucial in ensuring that employees can use technology effectively and that any IT-related issues are resolved promptly to minimize disruption to business operations


Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
 Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by end-users, including hardware, software, and network problems. This may involve troubleshooting over the phone, via email, or through remote desktop tools.
 Diagnose and identify the root cause of issues, escalating more complex problems to higher-level IT staff or specialized teams if necessary.
 Manage IT helpdesk application if any, by monitoring user complaints and resolution of the issues.
 Receives calls directly from Users having problems, or inputs from helpdesk officer regarding User issues and attends to the Users requests.
 Assesses the Users problems, resolves, if possible, else reports back to the Technical Support Supervisor / Group IT Manager about the possible solutions to resolve the issue.
 Determines whether problem is caused by hardware such as modem, printer, cables, or telephone.
 Explains to the User, the clear implication, data loss if any and turnaround time to bring the situation back.
 Trains Users on hardware, on-site.
 Discusses with the Programmer to explain software errors or to recommend changes to programs.
 Set up and configure new hardware, including computers, monitors, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring that they are ready for use by employees.
 Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment, such as cleaning, updating firmware, and replacing parts, to ensure optimal performance.
 Safe-keeps and manages software and hardware insurance certificates and warranties as per the instructions of the Technical Support Supervisor / Group IT Manager.
Experience & Qualifications
 Minimum of 3 to 5 Years of related experience or Real estate industry
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any equivalent degrees.
 Able to communicate in English & Arabic.
Skills
 Strong knowledge base and technical skills in information technology and maintenance.
 Computer literacy and knowledge in MS Office.
 Communicational skills and ability to work in teams.
