Senior Finance Officer – Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
• • Prepare and manage annual budgets.
• • Monitor and control expenditures.
• • Forecast financial trends and advise management.
2. Financial Reporting
• • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• • Ensure accuracy of financial records.
• • Present financial reports to senior management.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
• • Monitor daily cash flow.
• • Manage payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• • Optimize the use of financial resources.
4. Compliance & Audit Support
• • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• • Support external and internal audit processes.
• • Maintain proper documentation for audits.
5. Internal Controls
• • Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures.
• • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• • Conduct financial analysis to improve processes and efficiency.
6. Team Leadership & Support
• • Supervise junior finance/accounting staff.
• • Provide training and guidance.
• • Collaborate with other departments (HR, Procurement, Operations, etc.).
7. Tax & Regulatory Responsibilities
• • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory reports.
• • Liaise with government agencies for compliance.
8. Strategic Financial Support
• • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
• • Evaluate investment or cost-saving opportunities.
• • Prepare financial models and business cases for new projects.
Timing 8:30 am to 5pm
