Department: Engineering / Production
Location: Precast Concrete Factory

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support

Assist in interpreting and preparing shop drawings and reinforcement details.

Support the review of structural and architectural drawings for precast element production.

Work closely with senior engineers to resolve technical issues.

Production Assistance

Observe and learn about mold setup, concrete casting, and curing processes.

Coordinate with production staff to ensure elements are produced as per design.

Assist in updating element tracking logs and daily production reports.

Quality Monitoring

Help conduct inspections and tests (e.g., slump tests, cube strength tests).

Ensure compliance with quality standards and report any deviations.

Support documentation of inspection records and NCRs (non-conformance reports).

Coordination & Learning

Participate in meetings with design, production, and QA/QC teams.

Learn about the erection sequence and site coordination from senior staff.

Support in the preparation of method statements and technical documentation.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all factory safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions.

Ensure that all tasks are performed in line with health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.

0–2 years of experience (internship or academic project experience in precast is a plus).

Basic knowledge of structural drawings and concrete construction.

Familiarity with AutoCAD; exposure to Tekla or Revit is an advantage.

Willingness to learn, strong work ethic, and good communication skills.
