MNC hiring Senior Finance Officer for handling key financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of month.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant data and analysis.
• Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws (Tax retention, withholding tax, corporate tax) and assist with tax audits.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and prepare necessary audit documentation
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with internal policies and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)
• Identify areas for process improvement and assist in system implementations

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA preferred).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS preferred).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting/ financial software.
• Audit background or experience is highly preferred

Additional Requirements:
• Must have a transferable visa (Article 18 – Private Sector).
• Candidates currently residing in Kuwait only.
• Should be able to join immediately or with short notice

Salary Range – KWD 700-800
