Fabrication Supervisor
1) Production Management
• Oversee and manage all fabrication and production activities in the factory.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize work orders to meet daily, weekly, and project deadlines.
• Monitor workflow to ensure efficient use of materials, machines, and manpower.
2) Quality Control
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections at various production stages and address non-conformities promptly.
3) Target Achievement
• Ensure production targets are achieved within specified time frames.
• Analyse production reports and implement corrective actions to address delays.
4) New Product Oversight
• Supervise the fabrication and testing of new products and prototypes as per design requirements.
• Provide feedback to management on improvements during the production of new products.
5) AutoCAD and Fabrication Drawings
• Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings accurately for production and fabrication requirements.
• Create or modify fabrication drawings as necessary for projects, ensuring dimensional accuracy and material suitability.
• Coordinate with the design team to resolve drawing-related issues before and during production.
6) Site Measurements
• Take accurate site measurements for projects to ensure correct fabrication dimensions and fitting.
7) Staff Supervision & Training
• Train and guide new staff on fabrication processes, machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Allocate tasks to team members and monitor their performance.
8) Safety and Compliance
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure the production area is compliant with health and safety standards.
• Address and report any safety incidents immediately.
9) Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
• Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts within the production team.
• Support in resolving customer issues related to fabrication as per manager’s instructions.
10) Resource Management
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and request procurement as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of fabrication equipment.
11) Reporting
• Maintain daily production logs and report progress to the Production Manager.
• Suggest process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancement.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a fabrication supervisor or similar role within the steel, stainless steel, or metal fabrication industry.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proficient in reading and understanding AutoCAD drawings; knowledge of creating or modifying fabrication drawings is required.
• Good knowledge of fabrication processes, material handling, and machine operations.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle site measurements and project-based fabrication requirements as needed.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and timely delivery.
