Low Voltage Presales Engineer – Sharq, Kuwait
An IT & Security company based in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Presales Engineer to join our Presales Department.
Gender:
Male only (As per company requirement)
Educational Qualification:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Electrical, or Computer Science & Engineering
(Preference is given in the order listed above. Other degrees will not be considered.)
* KSE Membership (if available) or any equivalent qualification related to this position is preferred.
Languages:
* English (Fluent in speaking and writing)
* Arabic (Preferred: Arabic speaking with good English communication)
Certifications:
* Relevant vendor certifications in Low Voltage Systems are mandatory, preferably from:
HID, Honeywell, PELCO,Milestone, Hikvision, Axis, Lenel
Experience Level:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the following systems:
* Access Control
* CCTV
* VoIP
* Data Networks
* Public Address (PA) Systems
* Intrusion Detection Systems
* Fire Safety Solutions
Technical Skills:
* Strong IT literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
* Strong presentation, sales, negotiation, and influencing skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage
* Must have a valid Kuwait driving license
Visa Status:
* Article 18 (Transferable) — Must be transferable within 3 months or less

Job Responsibilities:
*Engage with clients and MEP main contractors to provide IT, Access Control, and CCTV solutions
*Prepare tailored technical and commercial proposals based on client requirements
*Participate in pre-tender and technical meetings at client offices or site locations
*Evaluate RFQs and RFPs for feasibility and advise management on engagement strategy
*Provide technical guidance for advanced integrated security systems and solutions
*Design conceptual, preliminary, and detailed layouts using industry-standard systems and 3rd-party components
Support the Sales team by qualifying opportunities and contributing to solution development
*Prepare BOQ, BOM, and manpower/material pricing
*Provide clear AutoCAD inputs to draftsmen for drawing preparation
*Conduct site surveys and audits
*Attend presales meetings and deliver presentations with account representatives
*Translate client needs into technical solutions, including diagrams and system architecture
*Ensure accurate documentation handover to implementation teams
*Handle technical queries (RFI/RFP) and participate in customer meetings
*Coordinate proof-of-concept demos, pilot projects, and technical product evaluations
*Represent the company at trade shows and technical conferences
*Stay updated on industry trends and technology developments
