Description

A Plumbing & Firefighting Site Foreman supervises on-site installation of plumbing and fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with codes, safety standards, and project plans. Key responsibilities include managing and training installation teams, coordinating with other trades, conducting quality inspections, maintaining project documentation, and resolving technical issues to ensure timely and safe project completion.

Job Responsibilities:-

Supervision: Lead and coordinate plumbing and fire fighting teams on construction sites.

Technical Oversight: Oversee the layout and installation of pipes, fixtures, sprinklers, pumps, and related equipment.

Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to relevant local, national, and international codes (e.g., NFPA, IPC) and project specifications.

Safety: Implement and enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and system functionality.
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage the work schedule to meet project milestones and coordinate activities with other trades and project managers.

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues, conflicts, and design discrepancies that arise during installation.

Material Management: Assist in managing site materials and equipment, ensuring they are available and stored properly.

Training: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members on best practices and safety procedures.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of progress, materials used, and inspections, preparing reports for site supervisors and management.
