Description

Job Purpose:

The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of construction crews at site to ensure work is carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of site workers, including masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and laborers.

Interpret and implement drawings, blueprints, and construction plans provided by engineers and architects.

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Monitor work progress and productivity and report daily site activities to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.

Ensure availability of required materials, tools, and equipment for daily site activities.

Check the quality of work performed and ensure it meets project specifications and standards.

Coordinate with subcontractors, equipment operators, and other site personnel to ensure smooth workflow.

Plan and organize manpower allocation and sequencing of activities.

Assist in resolving any site issues, technical problems, or discrepancies in drawings.

Maintain site records including daily progress reports, attendance, material usage, and site instructions.

Support the Site Engineer in ensuring timely completion of project milestones.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in civil construction projects (preferably in [building/infrastructure/precast/road projects]).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Proficiency in managing manpower and site logistics.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Physical Requirements:
