We are hiring a skilled and proactive Procurement Officer to support our construction operations. The ideal candidate will manage sourcing, vendor negotiations, and material procurement while ensuring compliance with Kuwaiti regulations and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists
- Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery to project sites
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance for procurement planning
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local procurement laws
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building materials and local supplier networks
- Familiarity with Kuwait’s import regulations and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software
- Bilingual (English/Arabic) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
