Key responsibilities
Beverage preparation: Create and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including espresso-based drinks, tea, and smoothies, using specific recipes and techniques.
Customer service: Greet customers, take orders accurately, answer questions about menu items, and process payments using a point-of-sale system.
Operational duties: Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, grind beans to the correct consistency, and steam milk.
Cleaning and sanitation: Keep the work area, equipment, and public seating areas clean and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
Stock management: Restock supplies like coffee beans, cups, and lids, and assist with inventory tracking and ordering.
Teamwork and training: Collaborate with other team members, participate in ongoing training, and communicate with management about equipment needs or customer feedback.
