Job Summary
We are seeking an active, attentive Site Engineer with strong hands-on experience in executing finishing works for luxury villas. The ideal candidate will supervise on-site finishing activities, ensure top-quality workmanship, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain strict adherence to schedules and specifications. Valid KES membership is required.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise finishing trades including plastering, tiling, joinery, painting, stonework, MEP, aluminum, cladding, GRG ceiling & other finishes.
Inspect workmanship daily to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve on-site issues promptly.
Monitor progress and report on schedule, manpower, materials, and site conditions.
Implement quality control and snagging procedures and follow up until completion.
Review shop drawings and samples and provide technical guidance to the team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field.
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in finishing works on luxury residential projects, preferably villas.
Valid KES membership.
Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, and quality standards.
Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong eye for finish quality.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to make timely decisions on site.
Good time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
ability to produce shop drawings.
Proficiency with CAD.
