Job Brief: Estimator – Plumbing & Fire Fighting (4–6 Years Experience)

We are seeking a qualified MEP Estimator with 4 to 6 years of experience in Plumbing and firefighting services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MEP project design and estimation , with a strong understanding of local codes, standards, and market rates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for plumbing and firefighting systems based on tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and designs for estimation and design input.
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct site visits (if required) to assess scope and validate estimation data.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and client specifications.
Requirements:
• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Kuwait, specifically in estimation
• Strong design experience with knowledge of local authority requirements (e.g., KFD, MPW).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local suppliers and pricing
