Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our furniture manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines used in the production of wooden furniture components, ensuring high precision, quality, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
o Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for furniture components (wood, MDF, plywood, veneers, solid wood).
o Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and furniture design specifications.
o Prepare CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for cutting, drilling, routing, and shaping operations.
o Set up CNC machines, tools, cutters, and fixtures according to production requirements.
o Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
o Optimize cutting paths to reduce material waste and cycle time.
o Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as required.
o Coordinate with design, production, and carpentry teams to ensure manufacturability.
o Maintain CNC documentation, programs, and revision control.
o Ensure machines are operated in compliance with safety and quality standards.
o Assist in continuous improvement of production processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills
o Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in furniture or wood manufacturing.
o Strong knowledge of woodworking processes and materials.
o Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g. AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, AlphaCAM, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
o Experience programming CNC routers / machining centers used for furniture production.
o Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications.
o Understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies for wood.
o High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
o Experience with panel furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, or custom furniture.
o Knowledge of nesting software and optimization.
o Experience working with edge banding and post-CNC finishing processes.
