Industrial Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Expert in industrial automation and control systems.
• Leading the design, development, commissioning, and project management of complex automation solutions for industrial automation and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Automation systems and software like SIMATIC PLCs, TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS 7/PCS neo.
• Hands-on experience with other manufacturers like Rockwell, DeltaV, Schneider, ABB, Yokogawa.
• Developing the control logic, preparing network architectures, and creating detailed electrical diagrams (often with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical).
• Configure and develop HMI/SCADA systems using WinCC and WinCC OA is a plus.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including control philosophies, functional specs, and I/O lists.
• Execute FAT/SAT, commissioning, and site support as needed.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Integrate OT systems with IT platforms, enabling real-time data connectivity and visibility across systems.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Related Field
• Minimum 7 to 10+ years of hands-on experience within the automation and controls sector.
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and SCADA systems
• Experience with the Upgrade / Migration of PLC and DCS projects is desirable.
• Ability to provide fast, effective troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of process automation workflows and engineering documentation.
• Capable of leading projects independently from concept to commissioning.


Preferred / Additional Skills (a plus):
• Experience with other automation platforms (e.g., Rockwell, DeltaV, Schneider, ABB, Yokogawa).
• Siemens certifications (PCS7 or equivalent) are a plus
• Knowledge of or safety systems (SIL-rated)
• Familiarity with Process Instrumentation, Instruments, Instrument calibration, loop checking, and field commissioning.
• Familiarity with analyzers (e.g., pH, conductivity, gas analyzers, TOC) used in process industries
