Required Senior Accountant

Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records, prepare financial reports, and support management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and post journal entries accurately and timely.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements).

Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Supervise junior accountants and review their work for accuracy and compliance.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Monitor expenses and revenues and recommend cost control measures.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.

Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

Manage tax filings and ensure timely submission of tax returns.

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports to management as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with practical experience in ERP systems such as Odoo or similar.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position based at the company’s office.

Office environment with occasional overtime during month-end and year-end closing.
