📌 Vacancy: Procurement Officer – UAPCO Company (Kuwait)
📍 Location: Sulaibiya, Kuwait

UAPCO is seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle procurement operations efficiently, ensure timely purchasing, and support supply chain functions to meet company requirements.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Handle daily procurement processes including RFQs, purchase requests (PR), and purchase orders (PO)

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules

Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors

Prepare and compare cost analysis & quotation evaluations

Monitor inventory, stock levels, and reorder requirements

Coordinate with departments to understand material and service needs

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information

Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and audit requirements

Follow up on delivery, quality standards, and invoice/payment settlements

🔹 Requirements

2–5 years experience in procurement / purchasing (preferably in Kuwait)
Familiar with International Purchasing

Familiar with local suppliers, vendors & Kuwait market

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good communication & negotiation skills

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Arabic speaking is an advantage (not mandatory)

Transferable Article 18 visa is required
