A leading aluminium manufacturing industry in Kuwait, we are seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to join our team based in Kuwait. The successful candidate will handle ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing equipment, carrying out routine maintenance, responding to breakdowns and carrying out repairs, as necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections of manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs on time.
• Identify faults and carry out fault findings and diagnostics.
• Install new equipment and upgrade existing equipment, as necessary.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure that records are accurate and up to date.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the engineering team to ensure that production targets are met.
Requirements:
• Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering – either B. Tech or Bachelor of Engineering with Electrical and Electronics. & Mechanical engineers can apply with experience in the maintenance of CNC machines.
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
