Description

The Contract, Pricing & Tendering Engineer is responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tender submissions, developing cost estimates, managing contract documentation, and ensuring compliance with project and client requirements. This role supports the project teams throughout all stages of tendering, pricing, negotiation, and contract execution within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and submit tender documents, proposals, and bid packages for construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements to determine scope, cost, and risk factors.
- Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate pricing and technical compliance.
- Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, and obligations to ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
- Conduct pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers to clarify requirements and negotiate pricing.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
- Support the preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ), rate analysis, and project cash flow forecasts.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts during project execution, ensuring alignment with tender commitments.
- Track tender results, market trends, and competitor pricing strategies to improve future submissions.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Good experience in tendering, estimation, or contract administration within construction.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost analysis, and pricing principles.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software (Candy,Bid Bow and other estimation tools).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
