Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is suitable for candidates with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, and monitor actual performance against budgets
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation for audit purposes
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect financial data and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Provide general support to the finance department and management as needed
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree or any related degree in Finance/Accounting
• Must be currently residing in Kuwait
• Transferable visa required
• Immediately available to join
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
